  27. I have to say that I (like the guy above) have been using Hayes modems for 
  28. a while and found that they always worked. (I currently have an Accura 
  29. 14.4+FAX). I was originally going to upgrade to an Accura 28.8 but I have 
  30. given up on that now for almost a year. Too many problems seem to have been 
  31. reported on the Hayes (and, initially, just about every other modem as 
  32. well). Anyway, I think Hayes need to get back on track or I don't think 
  33. that have much of a future (as a well known, 'buy Hayes, it works' type 
  34. company). They have already lost most of that for their 28.8s.
